I was just out for a walk the other evening, camera in hand but with no real plan. Sometimes the best shots happen that way. I turned a corner in my own neighborhood here in Poco and was just stopped in my tracks by this scene.
The sun was starting to dip, and that perfect golden hour light was hitting the trees, making all the autumn colours practically vibrate. It was so quiet and still. It felt like one of those little gifts the season gives you, a reminder to slow down and just look around.
These are the moments I live for with my camera – not just the big events, but the quiet, beautiful bits of everyday life. So glad I had it with me to grab this one.
