I was feeling a little creatively stuck last week, so on a whim, I took a half-day and went to a local botanical garden I hadn’t visited in ages. Sometimes you just need to step away from the studio and look at something else for a while.
I just wandered through the greenhouses, and it was exactly the reset my brain needed. I saw some truly wild things—leaves bigger than my head, flowers in colors I couldn’t even name. It’s humbling to see the sheer variety and strangeness of the natural world up close.
I left feeling so refreshed and buzzing with new color palette ideas. It’s funny how just looking at some cool plants for an afternoon can totally change your perspective.
